While founding builder Addison Wilson plans to continue to craft custom homes for a select number of buyers in the future, he is taking a cue from market trends and switching his product mix at Traditions to semi-custom homes that range in price from the Mid-$500s to the $800s and in size from roughly 2650 SF to 4200 SF.
“There’s just not enough inventory out there to keep up with buyer demand right now,” said Wilson. “Custom homebuilding is a long, costly, occasionally arduous, but always rewarding process. And yet, they still want that same   ‘wow factor’ that helped put Inspired Custom Homes on the map. To get more houses out of the ground and keys into   the hands of new homeowners, we can make this shift to shorten timelines and lower costs while still crafting a unique   product that fits the mold of a semi-custom home.”
The response from homebuyers to this transformation of Inspired Custom Homes’ product line has been incredible thus far, as production in Traditions of Braselton went from 12 homes in 2020 to an estimated 30 in 2021. Unlike a traditional spec home from a production builder, semi-custom homes by Inspired Custom Homes boast features like   10-foot ceilings, oversized kitchen islands, quartz countertops and spa-inspired mega showers. To keep the custom feel, each finish is carefully selected by the team at Inspired Custom Homes. Wilson and his team want each home to   be a unique reflection of the family who lives there.
