Since October is National Pizza Month, it’s the ideal time to shine the spotlight on all the fantastic pizza joints near the lifestyle-centric, master-planned community of Traditions of Braselton! While some represent your standard national brands, a handful are run by local families who could use our support – one slice at a time!

The Major Players

There are Papa John and Pizza Hut locations within two miles of Traditions of Braselton, with Dominos six miles away and Little Caesars eight miles away. If you’re craving Marco’s, you’ll have to travel a bit farther – it’s a little over 14 miles from the community.

Jefferson Pizza Kitchen

Family-owned and operated since 2020, this pizza joint features a menu of hand-tossed pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, wings, and more. If you love a great specialty pizza, you’ll want to try their Fireworks Pizza – showcasing pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, mushrooms, black olives, jalapeños, and Insanity Sauce, or their Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza boasting toppings like bacon, ground beef and cheddar on their standard cheese pizza. Sizes range from a slice all the way up to a hefty 18”. Located at 834 Gordon Street in Jefferson, this pizza kitchen is open Tuesdays-Thursdays from 4-9 pm and Fridays-Saturdays from 11 am – 9 pm. Rosati’s Authentic Chicago Pizza

Located at 1408 Highway 124 in Hoschton, Rosati’s is virtually a straight shot from Traditions of Braselton. As their name might suggest, Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza is their specialty, although they also offer a robust menu of hand-tossed pizzas, calzones, pasta, wings, salads, and more. The Rosati’s Monster is an ideal choice for the authentic pizza lover, featuring gourmet Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, green pepper, Canadian bacon, meatballs, and black and green olives with tomato and bacon on top. Their hours are Sundays-Thursdays from 11 am-8:30 pm and Fridays-Saturdays from 11 am-9:30 pm. Rachetti’s Café, Pizzeria and Pub

A little further out from Traditions, you’ll find an old-school pizzeria that stakes its claim as “Home of the Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.” It’s important to note that their thin crust is also a major contender. When ordering a deep-dish pizza, exercise patience – it can take 45 minutes to bake to order. If you’re looking for something different in a brick oven pizza, their Athena might fit the bill – topped with lamb meat, oregano, onion, tomato, feta, and mozzarella drizzled with tzatziki sauce over a garlic butter base. Located at 7437 Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch, Rachetti’s is open Mondays-Thursdays from 10:30 am-10 pm, Fridays-Saturdays from 10:30 am-11 pm, and Sundays from 10:30 am-9 pm. Biba’s Italian Restaurant

You’ll have to travel a little farther for this family-owned restaurant, but it’s well worth the drive! Just 14 miles from Traditions of Braselton, in addition to its menu of Italian favorites like lasagna, manicotti, chicken parmigiana, veal piccata, and more, it also boasts a wonderful pizza selection. Their Great White Pizza features ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, chicken, fresh tomatoes, spinach, and white sauce, while their Fisherman’s Pie showcases shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari, garlic, oil, and cheese. Located at 7338 Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch, Biba’s is open for lunch and dinner Mondays-Thursdays from 11 am-10 pm, Fridays-Saturdays from 11 am-11 pm, and Sundays 11:30 am-10 pm.
