Braselton Mulberry Riverwalk
Enjoy an evening stroll (or bike ride) along the Mulberry River. Known as a drinking water supply, this river has been protected and preserved by the surrounding community. You’ll find a natural trail along the Mulberry River with perennial gardens, footbridges, and picnic areas along the way. You’ll also find a monument on this trail that shows four counties coming together – Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall, and Jackson.
Fort Yargo State Park
Whether you are looking for a fun-filled day or a weekend-long adventure, Fort Yargo State Park has something for everyone. A 260-acre lake is the centerpiece of this park with a large swimming beach, fishing, and boat ramps. There are also 20.5 miles or trails for biking and hiking, as well as a wooded disc . If you’re looking to spend the night, you can bring your own camper, camp at one of the campsites, or reserve one of their yurts or cottages.
Treetop Quest Gwinnett
This aerial adventure park will put your mind and body to the test. With over 120 obstacles and ziplines in the trees – Treetop Quest Gwinnett has outdoor activities for courses for all ages. The Spider Quest course, however, is unique. This harness-free course will put you through a series of obstacles above a giant safety net. And, if you want to make this your family’s new go-to spot, they offer season passes, too!
Braselton Town Green
Known for its historic, small-town feel, downtown Braselton is a true treasure. The buildings in this area have been renovated to provide residents and visitors the same charm it has since the Braselton brothers opened the first store in the early 1900s. The Town Green is no different – here you’ll find events throughout the year, including cornhole league, local events, artisan festivals, and so much more.
